For extraordinary video performance from the standard DVD format, the Primare DVD30 incorporates PureCinema Progressive Scan (2-3 Pulldown) circuitry, Interlaced video output with a 108Mhz/12-bit Video DAC and 6Mhz bandwidth and a Super-fine focus filter with 4:4:4 video upsampling that produces sharp and distortion-free images. Control over 16 different video parameters is available for the ultimate in performance enhancing adjustment flexibility. Three memory presets allow for your favorite settings to be stored or recalled with the simple touch of a button.

Outstanding audiophile-grade reproduction is possible thanks to the use of a trio of wide-bandwidth 192kHz/24-bit (3x2 channel) audio DAC's and fully balanced analog output circuitry (front channels only). Extensive Bass Management for both SACD and DVD-Audio is provided for exceptionally accurate control of playback system setup and performance.

As technology evolves it is inevitable new audio and video formats will arrive. Every effort has been made on behalf of Primare's design team to make the DVD30 as “future-proof” as possible. There are of course provisions for software and firmware updates as well as a unique removable video output circuit card (rear panel accessible) that can be replaced if necessary to accommodate the desired video interface method. Optional video output cards will become available to guard against obsolescence as well as optimize performance.
